Safeguarding & Child Protection

Upholding an absolute, zero-tolerance commitment to protecting children from harm, exploitation, and abuse.

Our Safeguarding Commitment

At Blue Ridge Care, safeguarding is not merely a policy; it is the active foundation of our daily practice. In strict accordance with Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023, the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, and Ofsted's SCCIF, we maintain a proactive and highly responsive safeguarding culture.

We operate under a zero-tolerance approach to any form of physical, emotional, sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation (CSE), criminal exploitation (CCE / County Lines), or neglect. Our staff are trained to recognise the subtle indicators of harm, handle disclosures with deep trauma-informed compassion, and execute rapid, statutory reporting.
